Today in Math, we started with mental math. It was last one on the sheet, so the students added up their average percentage. I got 77.5%, which I think is really good. The rest of the class, we learned about Cubes. We learned about their volumes, surface areas, and the relationships in 3-D objects. I think most of the students find it pretty easy.

Today in Math, most of the students had a re-test on Radicals. I didn't do it because I think I got a good mark on the test overall. I just worked on Accelerated math, I don't know how to do most of the stuff that's on it, so I'm just doing the stuff I do know, and then I'm going to ask Mr. Maksymchuk about the rest of it.

Today in Math, we started with mental math. I was surprised because usually we never do mental math on Day 2 because of short blocks. That took most of the class. Mr. Maksymchuk gave us a Geometry worksheet to work on, it involves looking up some stuff on the Internet. I think it's due before Christmas.

Today in Math, we did mental math. I got 100%. We had the rest of the class to work on accelerated math and accumulative exercises. I just finished a big exercise and started doing the test for it. We also got our tests back, and discussed when we would be having our next test. The test this Thursday is based on Trigonometry, but it's optional as only 4 students have done any Trig in accelerated math. I will probably be doing it as I think I'm good at Trig.

Today in Math, we started with mental math. I've been getting quite a bit of 60 percents so I better start improving. After mental math, we learned about the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines. They are both a bit confusing, but I understand the majority of it. I had been waiting for this for a while because they are involved in my objectives in accelerated math.

Today in Math, we skipped mental math because it was a short class. All we did was finish going over our last test. I think it helped me quite a bit with the stuff I didn't know. I'm still comtemplating as to wheather or not I should write the re-test. I'll have to see how good I did first, then my decision will be easy.

Today in Math, we skipped mental math and went straight to some review of relationships between parallel and perpendicular lines for our test tomorrow. The 3 types of equations are slope y-intercept form, standard form, and point-slope form. I understand a little bit of it, but I think I'm going to get some tutoring after school today so I can do decent on the test.
